Short film commissioned film by Harris Museum and Art Gallery, Preston to share research, process and final examples of work from her studio at Rogue Artists Studios in Manchester, UK

MET Commission, In Certain Places and Preston Partnership, 2022

Artist Jenny Steele was commissioned to create an artwork for the interior walls of MET, Preston's new Mobile Event Tent. This unique piece of architecture was designed by architect Charlie MacKeith with In Certain Places, to create a movable space for cultural and creative events for the City of Preston.

This film describes Jenny’s research process involving Preston cultural groups and the Harris Museum and Art Gallery’s archive and her creative process to create this 56m long artwork for the buildings interior.

She talks about the way in which the visuals came about, during breathwork, which she now practices on a daily basis.
