Hella, Arcadia to Dunoon, 2016 (above and below) was informed by research into Edinburgh Weavers and Printers, Carlisle, during 1920s- 1940s,  led by the influential director Alisdair Morton, who commissioned modern artists such as Paul Nash and Winifred Nicholson.

Craigiehall to Brackenfell (below) and The Green Room &Vaudeville (below), screen print on cotton, wooden frame was also informed by research into the influential Edinburgh Weavers and Printers (1913-1970s). Craigiehall to Brackenfell shows drawings of the homes of the director including his modernist home, Brackenfell. The Green Room... shares drawings of the interiors of the BBC Broadcasting House, which Edinburgh Weavers designed the furnishings for in 1932.
